The Dreams for Youth Wutang Movement Haiti Relief Drive


In light of the recent earthquake in Haiti impacting over 3 million people, several organizations and supporters have joined forces with The Dreams for Youth Wutang Movement to coordinate Haiti relief efforts in New York and New Jersey. Drop Off Centers, as well as a Fundraiser Event and Drive have been set-up to collect emergency supplies, dry goods, and clothing. Efforts are being coordinated through Edeyo Foundation (501c3 organization) to ensure supplies reach Haiti and distributed in an effective manner. To coordinate large donations, please contact Zein Rahemtulla directly at 678.570.1596.

Examples of emergency relief items needed are:

• Non-perishable dry food and can goods (that can be easily opened without a can opener; cans with tab opening)
• Nutritional bars
• Bottled water
• Sleeping bags
• Blankets
• Sheets
• Towels
• Tents
• Tarps
• Clothes – clean and good condition
• Undergarments
• Shoes
• Soap
• Feminine products
• First aid kits (bandages, gauzes, antiseptic wipes, etc.)
• Dust masks
• Medical supplies
• Flash lights with batteries
